Kevin Schmitz
Kevin is the owner and founder of KS Performance Horses. He strives to fuel the passion of his team through quality stock. Kevin is pictured below with his wife Jacki and son Patrick.
Patrick Schmitz
Patrick is the son of Kevin Schmitz. He deals mostly with the cattle side of the farm, but is starting to get more involved with the horses. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. After Concordia, Patrick took two years off of school to return to the farm and gain animal experience as well as coach high school football. Patrick is currently a student at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is studying to become a large animal practitioner, with an emphasis in food animal medicine. He is hoping to become an equine veterinarian, owning his own practice as well as being the primary vet for the needs of Schmitz Red Angus and KS Performance Horses.
Darin Meyers
Darin Meyers starts all of our colts at KS and we couldn't be more thrilled for all that he and his family do for our program.
